DogDog

FAQ

How does DogDog earn money?

Like any other search engine, DogDog earns money from the advertisements on our search results pages. These ads are clearly marked and are served up by our search partner Yahoo. DogDog receives a portion of the funds generated by these ads. We then donate 50% of our profits to help dogs in collaboration with the Cesar Millan Foundation.

How much money is donated each quarter?

That depends on how many people use DogDog! The more people use it, the more we can give to dogs in need! Based on the revenue we receive, we have calculated that on average every search earns close to a penny to help dogs. The funds listed on the homepage of DogDog are a combination of what has been earned on both DogDog and its sister site GoodSearch.com that has been raised for animals in need.

How does the money get donated?

DogDog has partnered with the Cesar Millan Foundation to further the mission of helping dogs. Each quarter, we distribute funds that go towards paying for the care of dogs which includes providing them with food and medical services.

Can I keep track of how much money I've earned through my searches?

You sure can! On the DogDog homepage, you'll see a counter on the top right of the screen. You'll be able to keep track of how your searches are helping animals in need!
