Basil

Basil caught parvo and almost died before we could adopt her. Once she passed through that, we drove across the country for three days to rescue her. On our way home she took a turn for the worst and we syringe fed her pedialyte until we could get to an emergency hospital. She stayed over two nights and had a blood transfusion, and with weakened muscles slowly learned how to walk and run and play in our home once we were able to take her home. Two years later she’s full of love and life and is so strong and healthy! We can’t imagine life without her.
