Sir Chief Koda

Sir Chief Koda came to us as an 8 week old puppy and we fell in love with him immediately. He grew in our hearts greatly over the next year and a half. Koda loved his squeaky ball, or any toy with a squeaker, and always showed that noisy chicken who was boss. He loved the water and learned to swim and fetch a stick, in a lake. Oh, and let me not forget he liked to go hunting, on hikes, and fishing trips on our boat. Always the cuddler, he was at our feet or in our bed even though he had his own bed, pillow and blanket. Aside from water, he thoroughly enjoyed the snow and ran around in it like he had a Red Bull. His eyes were soulful. He even was vocal about how he felt when bored or disappointed with the body language to match when we were uninterested in playing with him because of chores. He always kept us laughing with how he'd react to us not wanting to throw a ball with him at bedtime. Unfortunately, his beautiful presence in our lives was cut short. We lost him to a reckless driver while visiting family in the countryside of New Mexico. We deeply miss him for he was the joy, happiness, playfulness, and love in our lives. He made our hearts smile 🥰
