Bruno

He's a sweet boy. 18 months old and very playful. Loves going for morning walks and playing with his dog brother Gizmo. He was originally brought to our home by our granddaughter who moved out last year and couldn't take him with her. So we've been caring for him since. Both me and my husband are seniors with significant health issues. My husband needs to have a second heart surgery in May and it is becoming increasingly difficult to care for Bruno the way he needs and deserves. In November, we took him to get neutered and afterwards noticed that he developed some anxiety and what seems like reactivity. He's loving and good with us, but whenever anybody comes to our home, he reacts and barks and growls as though he's afraid. He also doesn't seem to recognize our 16-year-old granddaughter who he's known all his life. He barks at her excessively and growls. We're not sure what's going on with that. The doctor thought it could be hormonal changes due to his sterilization . He is a very smart, loving little dog. He knows commands like sit, paw, down, leave it, drop it stay and come. He does need a Cytopoint shot every couple months for allergies. We feel with the right socialization he could be a great addition to the right family. We love him and it's breaking our heart to have to give him up, but we want to do what's right by him. We just want to find the best forever home for Bruno
